About

Nänni-Pää is primarily an illustrator who focuses on a more linear, isometric & minimal style of drawing. She looks at everyday experiences and picks up on several simultaneous moments that pose as different layers in her work. From depicting empowered women to exploring and developing her inner world, touching on ideas from karma, utopia & community. From stage design at festivals to tufting rugs, painting murals and upcycling clothing she has her hand in many pies. She founded and currently runs The Woom Room - a small shop and gallery in Glasgow, Scotland that sells prints, jewellery and clothing created by Scotland-based artists. Its ethos centres around sustainability and creating accessible work that everyone can understand.
